This is a memorial to all the men and women from the greater Bradford area who made the ultimate sacrifice serving in the military.

We had a short visit with Karen's parents place in the country. This hill, if you manage to hike all the way to the top, has a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. In case you are wondering, no, we did not climb to the top.

Sometimes, on calm evenings, they say you can hear the skirling of a lone piper playing in the distance, his ghost playing a dirge for his wife, who died giving birth to his only son.

Well actually, it is probably some guy whose wife won't let him practice in the house, and this is probably the only place he could find that was remote enough. But the other makes a better story, right??
